France Harker Cemetery

To get to the France - Harker Cemetery travel east from Eads, Colorado on Hwy 96 for 9 miles to County Road 49 (May Valley Road). Turn left (north) on CR 49 and travel 3/4 mile to County Road R. Turn right (east) on CR R and travel 3/4 miles to cemetery that is located on the north (right-hand) side of the road.

The France - Harker Cemetery consists of 21 gravesites and 10 tombstones that are intact and preserved. The earliest known grave is that of Frank Chilson in 1895 and the latest known grave is that of Charlie V. France in 1942. Most of the tombstones, however, range in the late 1800s to the first decade of the Twentieth-Century.
